Most carnivorous plants enjoy filtered light but it no rule at all and it would be a poor shame if the first thing you do is fry your carnivorous plant under the gazing sun. By touching its delicate trap system you set a bunch of systems in motion that are relying on the source of food, not your silly finger poking at it. Even touching its leaves can disturb the chemical composition of the plant. The very best carnivorous plant care is to leave it be and admire it from a distance, just like you would with a real predator.
